An Indian rectangular carved wood box, late 19th / early 20th c, the hinged lid with central carved peacock within floral trail frame and feather and leaf carved borders, the front, sides and back with roundels and trailing leafage beneath leafy borders, outset feet, 14cm h; 37 x 26.5cm Some small losses, feet with chips to corners and edges, other abrasions and scratches generally consistent with age
