刀身包浆厚重，锻造精细，雁翅刀形。刀身开有两道血槽，一道贯通全身，一道被分为三段。分段血槽暗合了道教的天、地、人三才，代表了一个可以循环的小世界，拥有较为宏大的世界观。刀身铁雕有龙吞造型，龙头须发、牙齿雕刻精细，丝毫毕现。此刀安装有椭圆形护手，四周起小折沿。刀柄为木制，外侧包裹有鲛鱼皮后缠绳。刀柄尾部开有穿绳孔。柄首为官帽形。刀鞘为木胎上大漆。鞘装包浆较为厚重。刀鞘上安装有两枚鞘箍，两枚卷云纹提梁相连。鞘装或有修配。全长89厘米。
