筒瓶在明末清初非常流行，取“一统天下”之寓意，在战乱不断，民不聊生的时代，表达了人民对天下太平，生活安定的期盼。此拍品撇口，短束颈，颈部有暗刻花纹，长筒腹，平底无釉。造型挺拔伟岸，颇具厅堂陈设之美感。器身腹部绘蝴蝶、花卉、雀立枝头，图案分布疏密有致，画意生动鲜活。整器秀雅大方，在同等器物中别具一格，赏心而悦目。
