Condition report: The wax-lined canvas in overall fair to good condition, with fresh colors and a nicely preserved impasto. Examination under UV light reveals scattered areas of restoration: at upper left, in the sky above the houses, as well as at center left, below the same houses, in the snow. Minor restoration at center left, near the tree on the left hand side. The most important repair can be seen at bottom center left and bottom center, in parts of the snow and river.
