核雕手执共十八粒，呈色均匀，颗颗枣红皮色，极为难得。每颗核珠均琢有六位罗汉，上下装饰莲瓣纹。罗汉姿态各异，惟妙惟肖，栩栩如生，十八颗共计108位罗汉。据现存世的核雕来看，明代的核雕大多是神仙人物、避邪神兽等等。明代以后到了清乾隆年间才出现了用橄榄核和胡桃核雕刻的花船和人物等核雕。这件核雕手执以神仙为雕刻题材，且包浆厚实，犹如红枣，从题材、表现手法及包浆状态来看，为少见的明代核雕作品。
