A PAINTED STRAW-GLAZED POTTERY MODEL OF A HORSE Sui Dynasty Standing four-square on a rectangular base, arrayed with a tassel-hung bridle and a red saddle cloth all finely detailed in red, black and pale green and fitted over the cantle to sit above long stirrups, the body with hogged mane and long tail covered with yellowish glaze. 29cm (11 3/8in) long.
