TWO BRONZE FIGURES OF IMMORTALS Ming Dynasty The first probably representing Lü Dongbin, wearing a billowing belted tunic and tabbed hat, the hands clasped and concealed beneath voluminous sleeves, a sword and hollowed gourd flask slung across his back, 13.5cm (5 1/4in) high; the second similarly robed, the right hand raised and face turned to the left with smiling expression, some gilt traces remaining, 18cm (7 1/8in) high, fitted stands.
