A PALE GREEN AND RUSSET JADE 'PEACH AND BAT' BELT BUCKLE 17th/18th century Finely carved as a large peach borne on a naturalistic gnarled, leafy stem bearing flower buds, with a bat perched on the long and curling leaf depicted on the side of the fruit, the reverse with two hooks for fastening, the stone of very pale green tone with russet inclusions. 6cm (2 3/8in) long.
