A RARE PALE GREEN JADE 'PHOENIX' BRUSH WASHER 17th/18th century The bird carved with its head gently tilted back to rest on the right shoulder, the wings and bifurcated tail crisply carved in shallow relief with stylised feathers of archaistic design, the back deeply hollowed to form the vessel, the stone of pale green tone with white and darker inclusions. 10.1cm (4 1/4in) long.
