A BAMBOO INSCRIBED WRISTREST 18th/19th century The rounded section of bamboo carved with the maxim of the Ming dynasty philosopher Wang Yangming, Zhi xing he yi, in running script calligraphy, the bamboo with a dark-brown patina. 17.8cm (7in) long.
