A WUCAI OVIFORM JAR Early Kangxi Decorated with scattered prunus blossom and auspicious emblems amongst crashing waves and rockwork, on a whorl pattern ground, 16cm (6 2/8in) high; together with a pair of turquoise-glazed mythical beast joss-stick holders, 18th century, each modelled recumbent, with the head turned towards the back, with large bulging eyes and flaring snout above long fangs, all between large ears, apertures on the backs, covered in a soft turquoise-blue glaze pooling to a darker hue in the crevices, gilt wood stands, 9cm (3 1/2in) long.
