A LARGE PAINTED ENAMEL TURQUOISE-GROUND BASIN Qing Dynasty four-character seal mark, 19th century With deep curved sides rising to a flat rim, finely painted with a central medallion enclosing a blossoming lotus surrounded by small flower heads within a six-lobed ruyi border and a band of interlocking chilong, the well with a continuous band of alternatingg blossoming lotus and pink and blue bats, the flat rim with four sinuous chilong dividing Shou medallions, the reverse with three large striding chilong. 36.5cm (14 3/8in) diam.
