Scarce female figures of women circa 1930 designed by Anthonie 'Amp' Smit for N.V. Koninklijke Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland. Large figure bears the stamp of manufacturer and remnants of a paper tag. Dimensions are: Tall figure: 6 1/4 inches tall X 2 7/8 inches wide X 3 5/8 inches deep; 15.87 cm tall X 7.3 cm wide X 9.2 cm deep. Second figurine: 5 5/8 inches tall X 3 1/4 inches wide X 3 1/4 inches deep; 14.28 cm tall X 8.25 cm wide X 8.25 cm deep. All measurements are approximate. Condition: One figure with no noted damage the other has broken, re-glued arms. Provenance: From a Northern Virginia collection.
