莲花生或译莲华生大士。八世纪印度那烂陀寺僧人及云游僧，后应寂护论师与藏王赤松德赞入藏创立僧团，后人尊称为莲师。这件莲花生像铜鎏金材质，属于莲师造像的标准作品，莲师一面二臂，身披僧袍，头戴莲花法冠。右手持嘎巴拉碗，左手持禅定印于腿上。全底座众佛像塑造立体，本尊造像衣纹刻画十分流畅立体，如水波纹般灵动，工艺水平较高，且体量较大，较为难得。来源：北京保利2015年春拍 备注：北京保利2015年春拍品
