A WILLIAM IV MAHOGANY WINE COOLER CIRCA 1830 Of sarcophagus form, the sides with acanthus-carved corbels, foliate handles and paw feet, now with a brass liner, possibly originally enclosed by a hinged top 49cm high, 93cm wide, 63cm deep Condition Report: Marks, scratches, chips and abrasions consistent with age and use. The top edge cleaned. Some fine cracks along the grain of the flame veneers. The brass two handled liner is a later addition and drops over the original half leaded interior with a plug to the base, this is dented and aged. The paw feet with recessed brass casters.
