A miniature gold oval locket form vinaigrette, with a white enamel octofoil panel to the front cover. Red guilloché enamel sides with white petals decorated with floral garlands and flower heads between. A hinged front cover with a hinged pierced grill to the inside. Tested as approximately 18ct gold, together with a hollow gold Alisee Pattée cross brooch, decorated with blue champlevé enamel with an incised central boss and bead terminals. Tested as approximately 9ct gold (2) Condition report: Scratches and marks consistent with its age. Shuts well. Noticeable scratches and marks to the reverse. Shallow dents and bruises. Wear and damage to the enamel. Soft solder and base metal. Later brooch fittings. Pin gold. Was probably a pendant originally.
