A late Victorian marquise shaped diamond set cluster ring, with graduated old European cut diamonds, grain and claw set to a fine scalloped gallery. Reeded bead shoulders, to a polished boss and tapering shank. Tested as approximately 14ct gold. Head 24.00 x 12.30mm, 4.46g. Finger size N Condition report: Very dirty. Very tarnished. Some of the outer claws require attention. One diamond has been glued in at a strange angle and this should be corrected by a good jewellery workshop prior to being worn. Light surface marks. A tiny line of porosity to the under side of one shoulder.
