A Victorian moonstone and diamond heart brooch, c.1880, with a heart shaped, carved cabochon moonstone, claw set to the centre, with rose cut diamond set claws. A ribbon bow surmount, grain set with graduated rose cut diamonds. All set in silver and backed in gold. Tested as approximately 9ct gold and sterling silver. A case by Cameo Corner, Museum Street, WC1. 4.31g Condition report: 20.60 x 18.30mm. Some surface wear to the moonstone under 10x magnification. Dirty, tarnished.
