A gentlemen's stainless steel Omega mechanical strap watch, c.1940, model no. 2292, frequently used as Air Ministry military issue. A circular 32.5mm case, with silvered dial, black Arabic numerals, blued spade hands and centre second sweep, with fixed lugs. Case marked 'Fond acier inoxydable' movement no. 968 8232. A later stainless steel mesh or chain mail style tapered bracelet with a plain box clasp. 191mm long approximately Condition report: Minor marks to the case. Winds, ticks when gently shaken but no guarantee as to time keeping. Minor marks to the glass. Dial has darkened in colour with age. Non Omega crown. No military markings to the case. Some loose links to the bracelet and out of shape in areas. Clasp secure. A circular 32.5mm case - as catalogued. A later stainless steel mesh or chain mail style tapered bracelet - as catalogued.
