PROVENANCE: From waldorf, MD Private Collector. Measurements: Height: 8.3 cm, Diam.: 45.3 cm Chinese Yuan Dynasty Blue and white Peacock Motif Porcelain Plate. The plate has a broad wide central interior, rounded mouth lip, thick, large, raised on correspondence footed ring base and slight concave. The dish wall is finely carved in clean white base color which contrast against cobalt blue fine color, depicted of peacocks surround with flowers bloom, foliage, rock, interlocking tendril and auspicious pattern. There is not any overlap of the outlines, its well carved, clear, subtle, and distinct.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
