A pair of Chinese porcelain baluster vases and covers, late 19th/early 20th century, painted in underglaze blue with scholars in conversation in a lakeside pavilion, with moulded foo dog finials to the covers, four-character incised marks to bases, 27.5cm high (2) One of the vases has a cracked around the upper part of the body, running most of the way round. Pitting to the glaze in places, surface wear throughout.
