Finely painted with a roundel enclosing a female lion dog and her cub within a thick border of panels of chilong on a diaper pattern, all surrounded by eight petal-shaped alternating panels of beasts in a landscape and birds and flowers, the rim with butterflies on geometric ground, 52cm diameter.
