A CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE 'BAJIXIANG' CUP. Qing Dynasty, six character Daoguang mark and possibly of the period. With a flared body finely painted to the exterior with pairs of the Eight Buddhist Symbols arranged between a key fret border to the rim and ruyi heads and studs encircling the foot, all supported on a straight circular foot, the base with underglaze blue seal mark, 10.7cm diameter, 6.5cm H.
