TRIPOD BASIN (JUN WARE) Diam.27.2cm H.9.2cm Description: This is a tripod Jun porcelain basin with flower-shaped mouth. The mouth is folded along the wall, and the bottom is supported by three cloud-shaped feet. The whole vase is full of glaze, with moon white glazed inside and rose purple glazed outside. The edge of mouth and outer bottom are brown. It shows that this collection is the smaller of the same set of artifacts. Using the changes of shape and glaze, this ware makes the original single shape look colorful, which reflects the superb level of Jun ware technology. This Begonia-shaped flowerpot holder should be used together with the one which engraved with the same number of words.
