CARMINE LIDDED BOWL Diam.11.1cm H.8cm Description: Carmine is a new variety in the color glaze family. It is a precious low-temperature color glaze. It is unique in the porcelain world with "red as red rosy clouds and blushing as a shy girl". Because the glaze contains gold, which is quite like the color of rouge used for women's makeup, it is also known as "golden red" or "rouge red", in which the color is a delicate light pink glaze, also known as "rouge water". This vessel is wonderfully shaped, with glaze color like cheeks. The mouth edge is obviously outward, slightly folded at the lip of the flrared mouth ,and the ring foot is relatively shallow.
