GILT COPPER AVALOKITESVARA W.23cm H.39cm Description: This statue of the Avalokitesvara wears a five-leaf crown with a high bun, large ears hanging to the shoulders, and round bells earrings. The cheeks are plump and the expression is solemn, with a slight smile. The upper body is bare, the chest is decorated with beads, and the lower body wears a long skirt with a belt around the waist, and the pattern of the clothing is exquisite, engraved with exquisite entwined lotus patterns.The statue is seated on a square platform and a large backlight with a flame pattern in relief behind it, which is quite decorative. The whole statue is vividly and beautifully modeled, proportionally coordinated, well made, gilded ,and with a thick patina, which is rare.
