PROVENANCE: From Audubon, New Orleans Private Collector. Dimensions: Heigth: 6 cm, Diameter: 10.5 cm Chinese Qing Dynasty QianLong Alum Red Glazed Porcelain Bowl. The porcelain potted with a shallow body, slight deep, thick, with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward the close mouth rim, raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in alum red base color which contrast against gold fine color, depicted of lotus flowers bloom, interspersed foliage and scrolling interlocking tendril. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
