PROVENANCE: From Farragut, TN Private Collector. Dimensions: Heigth: 45.4 cm, Diameter: 39.2 cm Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Blue and White Bailu Porcelain Zun Vase. This vase potted in a Zun shaped vase, thick and large, a drum abdomen, short cylindrical neck, a pair of decorative handles called ears, and raised on ring foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine design color, depicted of hundred deer's on the forest, surround with dense tree, rocky rock, lishui rivers and flowers bloom. The hundred deer design is symbolizes immortality and is the companion of Shoulao, the God of Longevity, a wish for great wealth and success.The Under base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
