PROVENANCE: From Farragut, TN Private Collector. Dimensions: Heigth: 27.8 cm, Diameter: 35 cm Chinese Yuan Dynasty Blue and White Figure Porcelain Jar. Potted into large jar shape, having thick and tall, globular body heavy on shoulder, gently tapered on short neck, round mouth lip and raised on flat round foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of figure walking on the forest bring big sabre on the shoulder surrounded with rocky rock, dense tree and flowers bloom. There is not any overlap of the outlines, its well carved, clear, subtle, and distinct. The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
