An early to mid-20th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver scroll holder, Bombay circa 1930-50 Raj period, cylindrical section with pierced and chased foliate scrolls flanked by plain bands edged with corded trim and stylised acanthus leaves. The domed conical section terminals with waisted pointed finals, each with chased lobed sections and a corded edge, one detachable. Length – 31.9 cm / 12.5 inches Weight – 355 grams / 11.41 ozt
