A late 19th century / early 20th century Anglo - Indian unmarked silver epergne centrepiece, Cutch circa 1900 Raj period, of two-section construction (detahced), the upper section with a fluted trumpet centre with petal form rim leading to a dished circular reserve with a scalloped rim all upon a lower section of a stepped tapering foot with a compressed knop stem. Decorated throughout with a chased rosettes and foliate scrolls above an acanthus leaf band. The front of dished section with a vacant shield shape cartouche. Screw thread and nut to underside interior. Height – 25.8 cm / 10.2 inches Weight – 632 grams / 20.32 ozt
