A pair of early 20th century Sudanese silver dishes or coasters, Omdurman dated 1935 Each of dished circular form with a fold over edge, the interior edge with flat chased decoration of stylised scroll forms with eyelets, edged with borders of crescents. The centre with a textured boss chased in Arabic with the maker, Nazar Mubarak, Omdurman أم درمان‎ and the date ١٩٣٥ all within a lozenge band.
