A late 19th century Egyptian 900 standard silver bowl, circa 1880, Ottoman Turkish Tughra of Sultan Abdul Hamid II (1876-1909) Of circular form with bombe sides and a beaded rim. The interior with mamluk revival engraved decoration of a hexagon within a triangle within a hexagonal cartouche, with scrolls and calligraphic panels, the sides with calligraphic bands and arabesques. The exterior with an engine turned band above stylised repeating forms and a calligraphic band. Marked to the interior with the tughra and sahh marks.
