Egyptian Royal interest - A pair of late 19th century Ottoman Turkish 900 standard silver dishes, Tughra of Sultan Abdul Hamid II (1876-1909) Each of circular form, with cast and applied everted rims with saw pierced decoration and chased leaves. Each applied with a chased cypher and crown of Khedive Mohamed Tewfil Pasha (r. 1879–1892). Each marked to the field with tughra and sah marks, the rim with an additional sah mark, also with two assay scrapes underneath and to the two to the rims.
