An Elizabeth II sterling silver cased commemorative timepiece, London 1976 by House of Lawrian (Christopher Lawrence) Of square architectural form raised upon four ball feet, the domed top cast to resemble roof tiles surmounted by a ball finial. For the tercentenary of Greenwich Observatory. One side with a FLAMSTEED and above his 7-foot equatorial sextant and the date 1675, the opposing side with HUNTER a satellite and 1975, all against a textured ground. The glazed circular dial with Roman numerals and LAWRIAN. Fully marked to the reverse, the underside stamped 13/100.
