Designed as a strand of flat ring shaped links with a toggle clasp suspending a large navette shaped pectoral pendant with a frince of granulated pinecone motifs and 12 round and oval shaped coloured stone cabochons, some in settings with fine granulation and filigree decor. Two Mexican fire opals (ca. 10.2 x 7.3 mm/ca. 11.7 x 8.3 mm), six small chrysoberyl cat's eyes, two emeralds (ca. 8.5 x 7.3 mm/ca. 8.5 x 8.0 mm), five rubies (the largest ca. 8.9 x 7.5 mm) and four small pear-cut beryls. With the original case. The design for this necklace (in black ink on tracing paper, 14.2 x 10.4 cm) is housed in the Decorative Arts Museum in Cologne. Dimensions Necklace L 65 cm.
