A Ming White-Glazed Baluster Jar The ovoid body tapering to the base and sweeping into high rounded shoulders, surmounted by a short neck, covered in a creamy white glaze and decorated anhua with a band of scrolling lotus blossoms above a band of lappets encircling the foot, the glaze pooling darker in the decoration, emphasising the design, the base unglazed.
