A Fine and Rare Chinese Incised ‘Pomegranate’ Dish Of saucer dish shape the shallow rounded sides rising from a tapered foot to a flared rim, finely incised to the interior with a five-clawed scaly dragon writhing amidst fire and cloud scrolls in pursuit of the pearl, and brightly enamelled in green, turquoise green, cream, yellow and aubergine with voluptuous citrus fruit and pomegranate sprays, the pomegranates bursting open showing their seeds, all reserved on a cream ground, the cavetto incised with two further dragons, the exterior similarly decorated with camellia and peony sprays and incised with two further dragons striding amidst clouds above a band of lotus lappets above the foot, the base with a six-character reign mark of Kangxi in underglaze-blue within a double circle.
