A Chinese Famille Rose Brush Pot Of square section with tall straight sides, decorated in famille rose enamels, finely painted with on one side a scene of two ladies and a man in a terraced garden beside a spotted horse, on the second with to girls conversing outside, one holding a fan, while a man sits at a desk inside, on the third with a warrior on horseback and two attendants approaching a high wall, two further figures looking down at them, and on the fourth two ladies, one holding a fan, looking up as a man climbs over a high wall towards them, the base glazed, together with stand.
