A Chinese Famille Rose Bottle Vase Of bottle form, the globular body supported on a slightly splaying foot, the sides rising to a tall slender neck with everted rim, decorated in famille rose enamels, the body with a continuous scene of pairs of waterfowl, ducks and geese, in a lotus pond, the raised band around the neck decorated in underglaze blue with triangle work, the upper neck decorated with insects and chrysanthemum issuing from rockwork, the upper rim with a diamond pattern band, the foot with honeycomb pattern, both in underglaze blue, the glazed base with a raised circle in the centre bearing a four-character mark in underglaze blue.
