此扳指为和阗白玉质，细腻滋润。器体圆筒形，琢磨规整，带灰皮沁色，古朴雅致。外壁中央浮雕带状卷云纹一周，各式云纹演绎变幻，规则排列，线条婉转自然，地章平整，工艺精湛，颇有意蕴。扳指，本为弯弓控弦之用，又有韘之名，古已有之。后骑射不兴，扳指由武而文，渐成饰物。整器琢磨规整，包浆浑厚，古朴雅致，极为精美。
