玉佩为和阗白玉制成，玉质极佳，局部带红沁。器呈长方形片状，边角弧圆。整体透雕为一夔龙，圆眼卷鼻，张口露齿，颚下留须，斧形短角。龙身较为抽象，挺胸，曲身，翘尾，肩部生出阔大的翅膀，利爪蜷曲于腹下。整体造形饱满，目光如炬，神情凶悍威严。身体装饰风格华丽，器表装饰乳丁纹。整体造型具有鲜明的摹古之风和强烈的装饰意味，是一件典型的明代官造玉佩精品。
