赏析：笔筒以紫檀木雕成，色泽穆沉。器形秀美庄重。笔筒雕作古柏树干状，周身雕琢瘿瘤，且在树干底部又巧雕出几枝细干，更为生动活泼，刀法简洁明快，琢磨圆润，刻工遒劲有力，是较为难得的紫檀文房用品。 参阅：台北故宫博物院藏，明末清初 紫檀树桩形笔筒。
