此瓶器型为筒瓶，又称为“象腿瓶”，为明末清初特有之器形，盛行於崇祯，顺治两朝，其笔直的筒身是展现瓷画绝好的载体。它的出现满足晚明以来居家文化高度丰富，发展的需要，因此广受欢迎。纹饰题材甚广，版画故事人物，瑞兽怪禽，妍花灵鸟无不入画，所绘无不精细，是为中国瓷画历史上最辉煌的时期。此筒瓶撇口、直颈、削肩、瓶身向下收敛、平底；通体施白釉，口沿绘花草，瓶身绘花鸟山石，青花浓淡相配、清丽明艳、层次分明，充分体现了清代青花清新雅致时代风格。
