Dimensions: 3-3/4" H x 6-1/2" Dia. (each) Pair of Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Red ink landscape over famille jaune bowls. Potted with a shallow body, slight deep, thick and bulbous body, with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward flaring mouth rim, raised on a small round, with slight concave footing. The exterior decorated with hand-painting in famille jaune under glazed base color which contrast against the red ink fine color, depicted of dense tree, mountain rock, small pavilion, peace river and sampan boat, all in mountain landscape. The colors are harmonious, balanced, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye. The porcelain displays a subtle sheen as the light ricochets across the finely glazed exterior. Mark on base, a six under glazed red seal script characters reign mark, Made in The Years of Qianlong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
