铭文：梦寐难忘姑射姿,冷月寒香入墨池；兴来沽酒浇清冻，报春花开第一枝。谢兰生题于常惺惺斋。钤印：里甫。。此砚取端石制，砚堂处雕喜鹊栖于梅枝，一轮明月高高挂，意境深远。附原配红木盒。谢兰生（1769-1831），字佩士，号澧浦、里甫、理道人，广东广州府南海县人，寓广州。嘉庆七年（1802）进士，羊城书院掌教。工诗善画。
