铭文：暮春之初，虎跑归来，得此砖于乞儿之地灶，有四字曰：延光三年，苍古遒劲。因制成研置诸书案，相以为宝，非金石之交不与视焉。干隆己丑仲夏吉旦，蒋仁识。。砚作长方样，开一字池，砚堂平坦开阔。石质细腻温润，风格古朴端庄，品质极佳。砚砖一侧落有“延光三年”字样。附原配红木天地盖。蒋仁（1743－1795），原名泰，字阶平，后来因得“蒋仁”古铜印，极为欣赏，遂改名为蒋仁，号山堂，别号吉罗居士、女床山民，浙江杭州人，西泠八家之一。
