A pair of Japanese cloisonne dishes, Meiji eraOf lobed shape and worked in silver wire with swallows in flight above flowering plants on an aventurine ground, the rim with a broad border of stylised flower panels, 37cm dia. (2)Condition report: One has a dent to the foot rim, a large enamel chip to the underside and rubbing to the gilt at the rim edge. The other has significant enamel loss to a 17x5cm section of the underside rim with associated bruising to the front rim, and rubbing to the gilt rim edge.
