此水壶造型奇特，铸造精良，呈圆形。壶身与壶盖子母口相合，壶盖莲子为钮，壶口上有壶柄，长流弯曲，圆弧流畅。壶身上下起弦，高浮雕花卉纹，花瓣叶脉卷舒有劲，枝繁叶茂，一丝不苟，自然写实，构图疏密有秩，生动形象。此壶形制规整，敦厚沉稳，装饰方法别具一格，通体古栗，局部鎏金，宝光泽泽，包浆醇厚，抚之柔腻，为文玩清供之佳品。
