Chinese Art A blue and white porcelain box China, Qing dynasty, Kangxi mark and period (1661-1722) . . Cm 10,00 x 4,50. A lenticular porcelain box for ink with blue and white decoration of wine leaves. The graphic rendering of the subject, common to many calligraphic artworks and allowed by the use of a beautiful bright and very diluted cobalt blue, is typical of the production of the Kangxi period and suggests the use to which this object was intended, or the typical trousseu belonging to a scholar. It bears a six character Kangxi mark within double circle at the bottom.
